DESCRIPTION

Sooner or later, every defense lawyer runs into the exclusive remedy doctrine and its tricky cousin, the “physical aggression exception.” Join Naomi Olds and Jaime Matier from Scanlan Griffiths + Aldridge for a practical, one-hour webinar (CLE credit pending) that will equip defense counsel with key strategies for spotting exclusive-remedy issues early and framing them persuasively throughout litigation. Get a refresher on the factual and legal triggers for workers’ compensation exclusivity, learn about the physical aggression exception, and apply recent amendments to the physical aggression statute to strengthen dispositive motions.
